Homestead for princes – On May 14, 2003 His Majesty, the Prince of Wales visited EC “Chiflika Chukurovo”. He was charmed by the warm welcome and by what he saw. The prince observed the ethnographic exposition, tried the traditional culinary specialties and talked to the people from the village. They all  were invited to the improvised cocktail in the tavern. His Majesty took away with him an old atlas of Bulgaria, a jar of natural honey and a keg of seven-years-old, home-made brandy produced in the old coppersmith of Chiflika, and stayed with  the memory of the warm welcome and the sincere honesty of the Bulgarian peasants.
